Once I started 'Panels', I could not put the book down. Phil, you are a master of blending the needed emotional aspect of the subject with profound character development. It is an amazing story that displays true power of friendship and love.

Panels made me laugh and at the same time made me cry. I enjoyed reading the story of life told with realty. Keep up the good work! I look forward to your next project!

It's been a few years since we met and it pleases me that you never seem to change, always with a encouraging countenance, an engaging smile and an interest in listening. You are a very special person

First I laughed, then I cried. I laughed some more and I cried some more. I then lifted my glass of wine to toast all my friends that have died and to you for helping me to remember my best years that I shared with them.

I enjoyed the book, it was very informative and if the message was passed on through the book into real lives people would appreciate life.

Very insightful novel, rough in some areas but fine in most. You present lives in truthful measures that resembles others we may actually know or have known.

As my biological brother, I am extremely proud of all you've done. Success is not measured by the material things life has to offer but by the joy you bring to others. I love you, Brother and pray for your continued happiness and success. Keep ahead of life's challenges and you will rise to the top.

A new balance in looking at life thru a different perspective. Seth is very much me. A strange mirroring image of my struggle.

Thanks for sharing. My faith allows me the strength to endure the daily struggle with living with AIDS. At least. hopefully others may realize we are all God's children.

I recently purchased your novel from Outwrite on Piedmont. The pages took me back several years to some very dear friends. I realize that PANELS is indeed a work of fiction, but I was wondering if the Gregory was the same Gregory that once managed the Cove? If he was, then thank you for capturing his beautiful soul. Best wishes.

Phil, last night I saw "The Normal Heart" at Darkhorse Theatre. It is critically important that we tell the stories and keep hope alive. Thank you for doing both. Love, Susan

Mr. Thomas, My daughter purchased your book recently for me. You see, my only boy lost his life three years ago because of complications with AIDS, he also lost many of his friends. The people you wrote about brought quite a list of emotions for me, mostly good ones. My boy Paul was much like your Seth. Thank you for helping me remember my loving child.

I have shared many laughs and maybe a few tears with Phillip Michal Thomas since meeting him and accepting his friendship in 1977. I am proud of his accomplishment with "PANELS", what a great, entertaining and enlightening piece of literature! As a fellow author, I give this effort an "A" and look forward to all future efforts.

I actually know peoples like the one in your book. It's scary to realize that we have to go thru all the hell just to be ourselves. Believe me, we all have a Tiffany in our lives! Live on!
